A CEREMONY TO LOVE

Steve creates bespoke ceremonies that are a reflection of each couples personality and style. He likes to work in partnership with his couples to create the perfect ceremony, one that is as unique as you are, and one that you will love. ‘It’s a balancing act, I have to create equilibrium between the the joy of the occasion, the seriousness of the commitment and the couples individual vision.

Weddings, commitment ceremonies and vow renewals are one of life’s most beautiful and happy occasions, and it’s my job as your celebrant, to remove the stress and worry out of your day by being professional, organised and supportive throughout. Giving you confidence knowing I’ve got it covered, so you can happily get married!”

LOVE IS LOVE! Everyone is entitled to have their “happily ever after” and I welcome the opportunity to perform ceremonies for all couples whatever their orientation, Same Sex or Hetro sexual. I have an in-depth understanding of Same-Sex Weddings and the LGBTI+ community and am proud to count them as one of my couples.

LET’S GET TOGETHER and have a chat to see if we are a fit (dare I say perfect match!). From there we can talk about your ceremony and how it will work - now’s the time to ask as many questions as you like and toss around some ideas. I will let you know what the procedure is, how it all works and things you need to start thinking about.

So you’ve decided I’m your guy, I’m booked in, now I get to preparing all the legal paperwork for you, all you have to do is sign. Nice and easy.

MAKE IT HAPPEN : With the legals out of the way, it’s time for you to let me know your thoughts on how you want the ceremony to flow, what you want to say about each other so I can personalise your ceremony. I will draw upon by experience and knowledge to guide you through the process that will ultimately lead us to create your wedding, just how you imagined it to be. I will then create a personal wedding script for your ceremony, as briefed.

PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT! Let’s get together at the wedding rehearsal and run through everything, I will make sure that you both are feeling confident and as relaxed as possible to enjoy the big day.

 THE WEDDING DAY: On the day I will arrive at the venue at 45-60 minutes prior to scheduled ceremony start time to set up, meet with the venue coordinator, as well as photographers.

As the guests arrive I will be there to greet then and make everyone feel welcome.

*Once the bridal party arrive I will welcome them and re confirm that you are ready to commit and proceed with the ceremony. With the ceremony coming to a close you are pronounced you married, yeah! Congratulations, now let’s make this official - you, your witnesses and I all sign the necessary certificates of marriage. We will then formally close the ceremony and with your treasured family and friends cheering and clapping you walk back down the aisle.

Love is love, now it’s time to celebrate your new life together.

COMMITMENT CEREMONIES & VOW RENEWALS

For some a commitment ceremony provides the ideal platform for the couple to stand before their beloved family and friends to affirm their love, commitment and dedication to one another.

Likewise a vow renewal ceremony, or do over is an opportunity to re affirm the promises of your union, honour your dedication, devotion and of course love for each other.
As with all my ceremonies I will working with you to create a ceremony which is memorable and befitting of your occasion.
